Inside out
Skyview High School's Participation in JR's Inside Out, a national photography installation.
Inside Out is SUCH a cool project. I was so excited that my school participated and that my photography teacher allowed me to help.
This project was created by the photographer JR, and pastes large photos of community members up in public places all over the world to display the people that make up our communities.
We sent out a form for students to nominate other students that they believe represented our school's commitment to trust, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
From there, we started to take the photos!
I felt so passionate about this project and wanted other people to care too. With this, I started an Instagram for the project and created the posters. In the weeks leading up to the showcase, you did not want to be around me... I was promoting it. hard.
We held our event and ended up with the biggest turnout yet! I am so grateful for this experience.
